Now that the season is done and dusted, ambitious clubs have already started preparing for the next one even if they are supposed to be going on a break.
The Siya crew has gathered information that three PSL clubs aim to raid Motsepe Foundation Championship side Pretoria Callies for two of their players that have been outstanding for the Atteridgeville-based side this season.
According to Soccer Laduma sources, Orlando Pirates, Sekhukhune United and SuperSport United have all been keeping the two players under their surveillance and have already contacted the second-tier side for their services.
Bucs head coach Jose Riveiro and his Sekhukhune counterpart Brandon Truter are both interested in attacking midfielder Oswin Appollis, while Gavin Hunt has his eyes firmly focused on defensive midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba.
A reliable source within Callies has confirmed that the players are in heavy demand and that the source was aware that boss Moses Malada has been approached for the services of the duo by several PSL clubs.
It is not clear at this stage whether the club will continue for another campaign in the Motsepe Foundation Championship following strong rumours that management had considered putting the side up for sale at one stage during the season.
Is it time for Appollis and Kwayiba to make the step up to the top flight? Let us know in the comments!
