Mammila's Baroka Thrashed, Durban City Win Again

Durban City maintained their winning start after edging Kruger United 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Kanyamazane Stadium.

City went to the break trailing but Joslin Kamatuka levelled matters on the hour-mark.

Bongumusa Nkosi snatched the winner for the Team of Choice in the tail end.

Orbit College 0-2 Hungry Lions

Hungry Lions won their first game of the season after beating Orbit College 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Olympia Park Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, Kagiso Ndlovu broke the deadlock for Lions and Ronaldo Van Neel secured the three points with the second goal in added time.

Upington City 4-1 Baroka

Upington City got their first victory and points of the season after drubbing Baroka 4-1 on Saturday afternoon thanks to a brace by Keabetswe Rakosa at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium.

Rakosa scored two quick goals for Upington just after the half-hour mark and gave them a two-goal lead.

Trevor Mokwena made it 3-0 for Bafana Ba Gucci just after the interval and Tlotlo Leepile added salt into wounds with the fourth goal on 65th minute.

Baroka scored a consolation goal five minutes before time.

Pretoria Callies 0-1 University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria finally got off the mark after edging Pretoria Callies 1-0 in the Tshwane derby on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first stanza, Kgomotso Mosadi eventually broke the deadlock for AmaTuks on the hour-mark and that was enough to hand them victory.

Back Leopards 2-0 Leruma United

New Black Leopards head coach Maxwell Konadu got his first victory in charge after a 2-0 win over Leruma United.

After playing to a 1-1 draw with Highbury in his first game, Konadu put four points on the board for Lidoda Duvha after two matches.

Leruma, on the other hand, lost back-to-back matches.

Milford 1-0 JDR Stars

Milford won back-to-back matches after a narrow 1-0 win over JDR Stars on Saturday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.

The first stanza ended goalless but Siphosethu Ndlabi clinched maximum points for Milford with the only goal of the game seven minutes before time.

Cape Town Spurs 1-0 Venda Football Academy

Cape Town Spurs got their first victory of the campaign after a last-gasp 1-0 win over Venda Football Academy on Friday evening at University of Western Cape Stadium.

After the match could not produce goals up until 90 minutes was up, Mervin Boji eventually scored the winner for Spurs deep in stoppages from the penalty spot.

Casric Stars 1-0 Highbury

Casric Stars got off the mark after edging Highbury 1-0 on Friday afternoon at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.

Leletu Skelem scored the crucial goal for Stars just before the half-hour mark, as they got their first win and points of the campaign.
