As the season approaches its end, a GladAfrica Championship club chasing the top spot has decided to move quickly to avoid any distractions that could hinder the club's race to the title.
Richards Bay FC are currently favorites to become 2020/21 GladAfrica Champions as they sit top of the standings and now it believed that the KwaZulu-Natal-based side have decided to increase salaries of players as motivation.
According to the club's chairman Jomo Biyela, the team has prepared very well to deal with mental strength of the players as they move to critical phase of the season.
"For now all players want to automatical promotion and that's a big motivation for them because they know their lives will change," Biyela tells siya crew.
"With that said, as a club we've decided to motivates them by doubling what we've been giving them, to make sure that they don't get distractions from our opponents during this time"
The Natal Rich boys players are believed to have also attracted interests from other teams, Biyela says they've prepared players to deal with distractions.
"Everything is clear from our players, they want to be promoted with Richards Bay FC, i don't want to talk about interests because no one has contacted the club and we believe maybe our opponents are trying to destabilise our plans by talking about our players"
