"Another match where the goalkeeper of the opposition wins Man of the Match, (Brandon) Petersen also and today (Daniel) Akpeyi but I also made a big mistake which I told the players at half-time," Mokwena told SuperSport after the game.
"After they got a red-card, I put two or three players in the wrong positions, it didn't work a little bit and I wanna thank my players for accepting my mistake and we corrected it a little bit better in the second half and we looked a lot better and a lot more comfortable on the pitch.
"Immediately after that red-card, I think also got a little bit caught up in the situation and when I tried to take advantage of the things I committed a mistake I committed last season already and I told them."
When asked to elaborate on the mistake, Mokwena added, "I can't, I'm only human you know but the players accepted it and allowed us to correct, we looked a lot better in the second-half, did very well and I want to congratulate my players," he said.
"But this is what teams do, we're a team, not just on the pitch but off the pitch and very proud of them, incredible performance in the second-half especially," he added.
