Mamelodi Sundowns have pleaded guilty to fielding an ineligible player in a recent DStv Diski Challenge match.
Premier Soccer League prosecutor confirmed on Friday that Sundowns stood before the Disciplinary Committee over charges of fielding an ineligible player in their Diski clash against Royal AM that ended 1-1 on 7 May 2023.

The player in question, Neo Dikgale, was ineligible for the clash a couple weeks ago, having already accumulated four yellow cards to his name.
Majavu has confirmed that Sundowns will have to pay a fine and have been ordered to forfeit the encounter.
"The club was fined a monitory amount of R40 000, half of which is suspended on the condition that during the period of suspension, they are not found guilty of the same offence," Majavu said via the PSL media department.

"The club was also ordered to forfeit the match in favour of Royal AM on a score margin of 3-0.
"The player was suspended for one further additional match, it is also important to note the fixture concerned was a Diski Challenge fixture."
