A former Kaizer Chiefs striker is predicting bigger things for the club under Molefi Ntseki this season as the ex-Bafana Bafana coach is working on turning the club's fortunes around.
Chiefs got their first win in the DStv Premiership in the 2023/24 season on the weekend against AmaZulu at FNB Stadium to move up to 11th on the standings.

Bafana winger Pule Mmodi scored two goals while the third goal came courtesy of Venezuelan midfielder Edson Castillo's header as Amakhosi registered a convincing 3-0 victory on Saturday.
Former Chiefs striker Patrick Mayo says there is hope for the Soweto giants under Ntseki to turn things around.
"There is hope for Chiefs because in the league it is not about how you start but how you finish. It is a marathon and there is still a new striker (Jasond Gonzalez) that we are yet to see in action," said Mayo, speaking to the Siya crew.

"We are hoping that the guy will adapt quickly to how the team plays once he starts playing. Chiefs are a big club and a lot is expected from the team despite currently trailing Sundowns by so many points," said Mayo.
