Amakhosi have moved down to 10th on the DStv Premiership log, having won only eight games in 24 matches overall this season.
Former Chiefs midfielder Humphrey Mlwane is calling for the Soweto giants to involve club legends in their planning for improvement going forward.
"Last time, we tried to talk to them about the possible involvement of the club's legends in the set-up and I am still hoping that can be made possible. If the club can open channels for the legends to get involved, I am certain that the guys would be able to identify players to take to Naturena and do well. The involvement of legends at any club is important, even if it means in the background, because they know the culture of the club," said Mlwane, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.

"For most of the legends, it is not about money but to assist the team to get back to where it belongs and that's what we are interested in. I wish the club can open that door for some of us who have been there and done it to get involved. We would like to see Chiefs competing with the likes of (Mamelodi) Sundowns and other teams that are doing well as that hasn't been happening for a while now," he said.
