The story
Mamelodi Sundowns have taken a significant step toward the CAF Champions League semi-finals with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Esperance de Tunis at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday afternoon, thanks to an early second-half goal from Peter Shalulile.
"Sha-Sha" has been a crucial player for Masandawana in the competition, having scored three goals, including his strikes in the group stage against AS Far and a crucial away winner against AS Maniema Union of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Namibian international celebrated his decisive goal against Esperance by reviving his iconic "Springbok" celebration. The movement sees Shalulile leap from one end to another, emulating a Springbok, while swinging his arms from side-to-side.
