Orlando Pirates are expected to make a decision on the controversial incident involving Thabang Monare on the weekend.
In their match against Richards Bay FC at King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday, Monare was involved in an off-the-field incident with a ball retriever.

It had been alleged that the midfielder pushed the ball retriever in protest that he was delaying throwing the ball back into the field for play to continue in the dying minutes of the match, though video footage of the incident is inclusive as Monare could have just taken the ball.
As a result of the ball boy falling to the ground, Monare was shown a red card by match referee Jelly Chavani and the ball retriever was seen lying on the ground after the incident.
At the time of the incident, the 34-year-old had been warming up with other Pirates substitutes towards the end of the match.

"The incident will be looked at and the club (Pirates) will make a decision. It's difficult to say now what is likely to happen and it will only be after the club's decision that we will know," said the source.
The Buccaneers currently have Thembinkosi Lorch suspended from all club activities until December 12 after he was recently sentenced in the Randburg magistrate's court to three years' imprisonment for assaulting his then girlfriend although the sentence was suspended for five years.
