He's had to wait over six months to find a new team after being released by Kaizer Chiefs in June last year and now Daniel Akpeyi has explained why it is a challenge to find another club after leaving Amakhosi.

The Nigerian shotstopper was among a number of players after leaving Chiefs, had then struggled to find a new club.
The likes of Anthony Akumu, Leonardo Castro and Lebogang Manyama, all of whom were released at the end of the 2022/23 season, struggled to find employment after Chiefs.
Speaking to the media ahead of Moroka Swallows' clash against Amakhosi, Akpeyi has opened up on the challenge faced by players.
