TS Galaxy 1-3 Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates won their third straight game in the DStv Diski Challenge after thrashing TS Galaxy 3-1 on Saturday afternoon at Isak Steyl Stadium.
Pirates were initially denied twice by the post in the early stages before Gomolemo Khoto broke the deadlock with 24 minutes on the clock and Siyabonga Ndlozi gave them a two-goal cushion early in the second stanza.
Mohau Nkota buried the game for the Buccaneers on 67 minutes while the Rockets scored a consolation goal in the closing stages.
Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 Chippa United
Mamelodi Sundowns ended their two-game winless run after edging Chippa United 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Sundowns' win took them up to seventh on the table while Chippa remained at the bottom of the log.
Kaizer Chiefs P-P Maritzburg United
The fixture between Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United which was scheduled to play on Saturday morning was postponed due to a water-logged pitch at Dobsonville Stadium.
Chiefs were coming off a back of two straight wins and were looking for their third win in a row while Maritzburg were on a rebound after their loss to Orlando Pirates halted their run of back-to-back victories.
SuperSport United 3-0 Richards Bay
SuperSport United won their fourth game in a row after a resounding 3-0 victory over Richards Bay on Saturday morning at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Following a goalless first stanza, Jabu Matsio eventually broke the deadlock for SuperSport early in the second stanza, Tendamudzimu Matodzi gave them a two-goal cushion with 19 minutes left and Keenan Bezuidenhout put the result beyond doubt in stoppages.
Marumo Gallants 2-2 AmaZulu
AmaZulu drew their fifth game in a row after they salvaged a share of the spoils in a four-goal thriller against Marumo Gallants on Saturday morning at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Sibusiso Nkosi put Gallants ahead midway through the first stanza but AmaZulu found the equaliser just before the interval.
Matsimela Thoka's charges thought they had bagged all the three points after Zwelethu Mzimela forced an own goal from Usuthu with three minutes to go.
However, the KwaZulu-Natal side snatched the equaliser in the last minute.
Sekhukhune United 2-0 Royal AM
Sekhukhune United bounced back from their embarrassing defeat against Cape Town City after beating Royal AM 2-0 on Sunday morning at Isak Steyl Stadium.
Asekho Tiwani got the breakthrough for Sekhukhune midway through the first stanza and Simphiwe Mabena sealed the deal in added time.
