ES Setif were crowned CAF Champions League winners after securing a 1-1 draw against AS Vita in the second leg in Algeria.
Setif claimed the prestigious title on the away goals rule, having secured a 2-2 draw in Kinasha in the first leg.
The first half did not prove to be the liveliest of opening 45 minutes, although Vita saw most of the ball, much to the frustration of the home fans.
Both sides struggled to create any openings in the inside the respective goal mouths and were resuscitated to long range efforts.
The home side eventually took the lead in the 49th minute, as an un-marked Younes Sofiane tapped into an empty net at the back post.
However, Vita responded immediately and in spectacular fashion, as Lema Mabidi pounced on a loose ball to rifle home the equaliser from 20-yards out, his third goal in the two legged affair.
The Algerians managed to see out the rest of the second half to claim their second ever CAF Champions League trophy, having previously won it in 1988.
Setif will receive $1.5 million and will also represent Africa at the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco in December.
