Stuart Baxter, the Bafana Bafana coach, has some difficult choices to make next week when he announces his squad to face Libya in their crucial 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier later this month.
It's been more than three months since Bafana were in action and the Englishman has said he will consider a "rich vein of form" in his selection.

The Siya crew looked at five players the coach probably can't ignore…
Lebohang Maboe
Bafana will need to play with much more determination against Libya than in last year's home leg. And in that case, Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Maboe shouldn't be overlooked. Being flexible to play anywhere up front could compliment Percy Tau and Lebo Mothiba to trouble their stubborn opponents.
Thembinkosi Lorch
He came off the bench the last time Bafana were in action against Nigeria and looked lively. The Orlando Pirates forward is already being considered a possible candidate for the Player of the Season. Even if he doesn't start, having him as a wildcard makes sense.
Kermit Erasmus
Yes, he lacks match fitness and hasn't been called up in two years. But 'Romeo' is goal poacher on his day – look no further than his three quality goals in three matches for Cape Town City in the last week. You need a guy like that in the 'kitchen'.

Rivaldo Coetzee
Bafana have conceded one goal throughout the qualifiers, so maybe Baxter can't tinker with the back four. However, captain Thulani Hlatshwayo has been played out of position at Wits and his partner Buhle Mkhwanazi looks out of sorts. Why not have Sundowns' Coetzee as a back-up just in case?
Wayne Sandilands
With Itumeleng Khune out injured, it leaves Darren Keet and Ronwen Williams to fight for the No.1 spot. Wayne Sandilands has recently won back the jersey at Pirates and has the necessary international experience, should Baxter need to call on him in an emergency situation.
