The representative of Cole Alexander has spoken up on why he thinks his player is worthy of a call-up to the South African national team.

As previously reported in the past weeks, the national team head coach is believed to be open to giving chances to players who are currently in good form for their respective clubs.
Alexander has made 25 appearances in all competitions with Bidvest Wits this season, missing just one out of their 22 league encounters, due to a yellow card suspension, having been instrumental to their fight for the Absa Premiership league title.
Speaking to the Siya crew, the player's representative Gary Cassisa from Mede8 Sports revealed why he thinks Alexander is deserving of a national team call-up on Monday.
"I am hopeful that Cole will get a call up to the national team, considering all the hard work he has put in since joining Bidvest Wits. His statistics and work rate speaks for itself.
Alongside the likes of Hlompho Kekana and Tiyani Mabunda, I think he could play an important role in Bafana Bafana's midfield if given a chance," he said.
"But, if he doesn't get a call up then he shouldn't drop his head, with the faith that Gavin Hunt has had in him throughout the season, it shows that he has been one of the most hardworking players in the league and will continue to do so as a true professional of the game," Cassisa added.
