Vinicius Hat-Trick Seals Thrilling Comeback For Real

Real Madrid 5-2 Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid rallied back from two goals down to defeat Borussia Dortmund 5-2 on Tuesday night.

Carlo Ancelotti went for a strong line-up despite facing Barcelona on Saturday, as Jude Bellingham lined up against his former side in a rematch of last season's final.

The visitors went ahead on 30 minutes courtesy of a strike from Donyell Malen, before Jamie Gittens doubled the lead advantage four minutes later.

Los Blancos got back on level terms in the 59th minute when Antonio Rudiger powered home a header from Kylian Mbappe's cross, before Vinicius Junior brought the scores level three minutes later.

The home side completed the turnaround in the final ten minutes, as Lucas Vazquez got the go-ahead goal with a lovely strike before Vinicius got his second and the team's fourth goal with a lovely solo run and finish.

There was enough time for the hosts to grab a fifth goal after Vinicius completed his hat-trick with another composed finish in time added on.

Arsenal 1-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

Arsenal returned to winning ways after edging past Shakhtar Donetsk at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners were still without Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, as Gabriel Martinelli got a rare start upfront as Kai Havertz dropped to midfield.

The Gunners got the opening in the 29th minute, with Martinelli's shot hitting the post and deflecting in off goalkeeper Dymtro Riznyk.

Arsenal had a chance to double their lead in the 76th minute after being a penalty, but Leandro Trossard was unable to convert after he was denied by Riznyk.

Juventus 0-1 Stuttgart

Stuttgart struck in the dying stages of the game to secure a 1-0 win away to Juventus.

The visitors squandered a chance to take the lead in the 84th minute when Enzo Millot missed a penalty.

While Juventus had Danilo sent off for a second yellow, Stuttgart got the winning goal in the 92nd minute through substitute El Bilal Toure.

Aston Villa 2-0 Bologna

Aston Villa continued their winning start in the League Phase with a 2-0 victory against Bologna at Villa Park.

After a scoreless first half, the home side broke the deadlock ten minutes after the interval when John McGinn's free-kick evaded everybody and sailed into the far corner.

The home side bagged the second goal in the 63rd minute when Martin Rodgers picked out substitute Jhon Duran, who turned the ball home from close range.

AC Milan 3-1 Club Brugge

AC Milan got back to winning ways in the League Stage with a 3-1 victory over Club Brugge on Tuesday evening.

Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for the hosts on 34 minutes before Brugge were reduced to ten men when Raphael Nwadike was shown a straight red card six minutes later.

Kyriani Sabbe pulled the visitors level six minutes after the break, but a ten-minute brace from Tijjani Reijnders sealed the win for the Milan outfit.
