Barca Thrash Bayern, Man City Run RIot!

FC Barcelona 4-1 Bayern Munich

FC Barcelona warmed up for El Clasico with an emphatic 4-1 thrashing of Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

The home side needed just one minute to find the breakthrough as Raphinha latched onto a pass from Fermin Lopez before rounding the goalkeeper to slot into an empty net.

Harry Kane pulled the Bundesliga side level on 18 minutes, with the England international turning home acrobatically turning home Serge Gnabry's cross.

Barcelona, however, were back in front ten minutes before the interval when Robert Lewandowski bagged his 15th goal of the campaign while Raphinha completed his brace on the stroke of halftime.

The night belonged to Raphinha, who completed his hat-trick ten minutes after the halftime break with another composed finish after latching onto Lamine Yamal's impressive through-ball.

Manchester City 5-0 Sparta Prague

Manchester City proved too strong for Sparta Prague after registering a 5-0 win at the Etihad on Wednesday night.

The Citizens got the breakthrough after just three minutes as Phil Foden collected a pass from Manuel Akanji before finding the back of the net with a lovely strike from distance.

The goals only began to flow in the second period when Erling Haaland got on the score-sheet in the 58th minute after being set up by Savinho.

Third goal arrived just after the hour mark when John Stones made it two goals in two games with a towering header from Matheus Nunes' cross.

Haaland completed his brace for the English champions with 20 minutes to play by finishing off a lovely counter-attack with a right-footed finish, before Nunes added his name to the score-sheet on 88 minutes to round off a good win.

RB Leipzig 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool maintained their winning start in the League Phase with a 1-0 triumph over RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.

The Premier League outfit got the breakthrough midway through the first half when Darwin Nunez poked home from close range after Mohamed Salah's knockdown.

Leipzig thought they had bagged the equaliser in the final ten minutes through Loïs Openda's strike, but the celebrations were cut short due to the offside flag.

Young Boys 0-1 Inter Milan

Inter Milan struck in the dying stages of the second half to secure a 1-0 win away to Young Boys.

The game was seemingly headed for a draw until Marcus Thuram popped up with the winning goal in the third minute of time added on.
