UEFA have announced the nominees for the Goal of the 2017/18 Season, and Cristiano Ronaldo's stunning bicycle kick for Real Madrid against Juventus is one of the contenders.

The Portuguese netted his stunning strike against his new club in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals back in April. It earned him a standing ovation from the home support, and is one of 11 nominees for the award.
The shortlist was selected by UEFA's Technical Observers, and includes one nominee from each of the main UEFA competitions over the past 12 months, with only goals registered in UEFA club or international fixtures being eligible for consideration.
