Spanish publication Sport has claimed that left-back Marcelo, who dropped down the pecking order under Santiago Solari last season, has asked the club to let him go.

However, Sport claim that Marcelo does not believe he is guaranteed a spot in Zidane's strongest line-up following the signing of Ferland Mendy from Olympique Lyon, and has requested that Real to listen to any offers for his services.
