Julien Faubert joined Los Blancos on loan from West Ham United in January 2009. However, the midfielder is widely regarded as one of the biggest transfer flops in the club's history after making just two appearances from the bench before leaving six months later.
After his return to West Ham, he spent another three more years with the Hammers, but his career has taken a downturn since his departure from the London club in 2012.
Following stints with Elazigspor, Bordeaux, Kilmarnock, FC Inter Turku and Borneo FC in Indonesia, the 35-year-old has now joined Etoile Frejus Saint-Raphael.
