According to Il Mattino, Napoli defender Min-jae Kim has agreed to a deal worth €9 million (R187 million) a year to become the Red Devils' newest centre-back.
The Italian publication claims that the Premier League club have already found a house for the 26-year-old in the exclusive suburb of Alderley Edge.
The South Korean's entourage are said to be hesitant over a move to Old Trafford with the player having only recently arrived in Serie A, but the central defender is said to be determined to join Erik ten Hag's side.
While the deal may be done on the player's side, though, it is believed the record EPL champions still need to agree a fee with the Italian champions.
The same report claims that United want a cash-plus-player deal, but Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has insisted he will only let Kim leave if his release clause is paid.
De Laurentiis is said to have placed a €65 million (R1.3 billion) price tag on the Tongyeong native and will reportedly not negotiate on the price even if the Mancunians offer a replacement in the form of Victor Lindelof.
