Los Blancos have been linked with some big names ahead of the next transfer window, but any attempt to buy players could be difficult for the club without selling first.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners could look to get rid of up to six players to fund potential moves for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe.

On-loan Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale is reportedly among the players Real could let go in the next window, with the club said to be desperate to avoid paying his wages for another season.

The Welshman recently stated it has always been his plan to return to Los Blancos, although the Spanish giants could look to offload him before the 2021/22 season gets underway.

French defender Raphael Varane has also been named as one of the players Real would be willing to sell to ease their financial situation amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Time on Isco's Los Blancos career could also be called as part of the LaLiga champions' potential rebuild, and the same could be said for Brazilian left-back Marcelo, whose playing time has decreased significantly over the past two years.

While Sergio Ramos has not been linked with any specific club, the Spaniard's contract situation ensures that he will leave the Santiago Bernabeu as a free agent at the end of the season should he decide not to extend his stay in Madrid.
