The Catalan giants are in for another squad revamp, with many plans depending on whether or not Lionel Messi stays at the club beyond this campaign.
At the moment, signals coming from Barcelona and people close to the player seem to indicate that the 33-year-old is ready to sign a new contract with the Catalan giants.
As a consequence, the club's leadership might soon be able to focus on other transfer dealings, with manager Ronald Koeman keen on several players to improve his squad.
The Dutchman has identified three areas in which he would like to upgrade his team, namely at centre-back, central midfield and in attack, according to Marca.
The biggest name on the list is Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, who would likely cost more than €100 million (R1.7 billion).
It might be tricky for the Blaugrana to pull off such a mega transfer, however, despite new president Joan Laporta being believed to have a good relationship with the Norwegian's agent, Mino Raiola.
Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez is understood to also be on the list of targets should the Haaland deal not materialise.

Due to the club's stretched financials, though, the Blaugrana are also looking at signing free agents, with Manchester City duo Eric Garcia and Sergio Aguero closely linked.
In addition, Koeman is also reportedly keen on bringing in Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum, whom he previously worked with as manager of the Netherlands national team.
