Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted he is not going to the FIFA Club World Cup, where he could face Mamelodi Sundowns, for a holiday.

The Portuguese could become only the sixth player in history to lift the trophy a third time – the others being Dani Alves, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique and Lionel Messi – after winning it with Manchester United in 2008 and Real in 2014.
He has insisted he is not going to Japan for a holiday, and wants to lift the trophy in order to cap off his brilliant year.
"It is a big tournament and I have been lucky enough to win it twice before," he told AS.
"Of course, I want to win it for a third time. We are not going to Japan for a holiday.
"We go there with the sole aim of winning the title and to be crowned the best team in the world."

Los Blancos will face the winner of the quarter-final between Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Club America in the semi-final, and could potentially meet Pitso Mosimane's Sundowns in the final.
