The LaLiga champions have been linked with both Antoine Griezmann and Neymar in this window. However, it seems unlikely they can afford to add both superstars to their already-stretched wage bill.
In the meantime, back-up goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has joined Valencia after agreeing to four-year contract.

Cillessen, who has also been linked with a switch to Benfica, joined Barcelona from Ajax Amsterdam in 2016, and has since made 32 appearances for the club, with 24 of those coming in the Copa del Rey.
The Dutch keeper is Barca's second departure after Andre Gomes joined Everton on Tuesday.
