Everton maintained top spot in Group H after beating Lille 3-0 in the Europa League at Goodison Park on Thursday night.
Romelu Lukaku almost broke the deadlock inside the opening minute, but his effort from six-yards was brilliantly denied by Lille goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama.
After a slow period in the game, Everton eventually took the lead in the 26th minute thanks to a powerful volley from Leon Osman.
The Toffees doubled their lead just before the halftime break, as Phil Jagielka headed home Aiden McGeady's out-swinging corner.
Lukaku came close to adding a third for Everton in the 53rd minute but his free-kick was well saved by Enyeama.
Everton eventually added a third in the 60th minute, as Leighton Baines picked out Steven Naismith, who showed good control before firing into the roof of the net.
The Ligue 1 side failed to trouble Tim Howard in the second half, as Everton held to maintain their unbeaten start in the tournament.
