Tottenham Hotspurs picked up their first group stage win after beating Asteras Tripolis 5-1 in their Europa League group B clash at White Hart Lane.
Harry Kane gave Spurs the lead after 11 minutes with a fine strike from 20-yards into the bottom corner, his fourth goal of the campaign.
Facundo Parra should have leveled matters in the 24th minute, but the striker managed to head wide from close range.
Erik Lamela doubled Spurs in the 28th minute with a spectacular Rabona finish from outside the area.
The visitors struggled to create anything in the remainder of the opening 45 minutes.
However, Lamela got his second and Spurs' third in the 65th minute with a delightful volley from 12-yards out.
Hugo Lloris came to Spurs' rescue four minutes later, as he pulled off a stunning save to keep out Usero's volley.
The hosts added a fourth in the 75th minute courtesy of a close range finish from Kane, after Moussa Dembele's effort had been saved.
Kane completed his hat-trick in the 81st minute with a header from six-yards, after being picked out by Fazio.
The night ended on a sour note for Spurs' as Lloris was shown a straight red for late challenge, and the visitors scored a consolation from the resulting free-kick, after mistake from stand-in goalkeeper, Harry Kane.
