Brazil international, Dani Alves, has pointed out that Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez, is ready and raring to go ahead of his Barcelona debut in the 'El Clásico' on Saturday 25th October.
Alves even went as far as labelling Suárez a 'beast' in an interview with Catalan television channel TV3.
"I'm just as anxious as he is for him to start playing and he really feels like a Barcelona player," said the full-back.
"He's a beast. I'm sure he's ready, he's working incredibly hard and is so keen to play."
The 31-year-old, whose contract is running out at the end of the season, was coy on talking about his personal future at Camp Nou.
"I'm not going to worry or lose hope, nor will I stop competing as I usually do just because I have a few months to go on my contract and if bad things happen, well that's life," he added.
Alves has scored 20 goals and assisted further 85 in 304 appearances since joining Barcelona in 2008.
