France Football have released the 30 nominees for this year's prestigious Ballon d'Or award.
For the second consecutive year, the award for men and women will be based on results for a season, rather than a calendar as they have done in the past, meaning this award is for the 2022/2023 campaign.

The other awards that are set to be handed out are the the Kopa Trophy (Best U21 player), Yashin Trophy (best goalkeeper), the Socrates Award, the Gerd Müller Trophy and a Club of the Year.
Former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema is current holder of the men's Ballon d'Or while Barcelona and Spain star Alexia Putellas won the Ballon d'Or Feminin.
The Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on 30 October 2023 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, with Ivory Coast and Chelsea legend Didier Drogba hosting the awards.
