A four-time Africa Cup of Nations winner has written himself into the competition's history books once again with a special milestone.

El-Hadary, who started the match on the bench, was brought on to win his 148th cap at the age of 44 years and two days after first choice shot-stopper Ahmed El-Shenawy picked up a shoulder injury in the game.
The veteran shot-stopper won his first African title in 1998 and was named as the best goalkeeper in the tournament when Egypt won on home soil in 2006.
The 44-year-old was also part of the Pharaohs teams that defended their AFCON crown successfully in 2008 and 2010.
