Esperance de Tunis have confirmed the departure of their coach, Laurentiu Reghecampf, after just four months since he replaced Miguel Cardoso at the club.
The Romanian tactician only joined Esperance in November 2024, replacing Cardoso, who has since taken up a job at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Reghecampf also guided Espérance to the Tunisian Super Cup title in February 2025. However, things began to sour in recent weeks.
The 49-year-old has been in charge for 24 games, registering 16 victories, six draws, and two defeats, according to Transfermarkt.
Get ready for a football spectacle like no other as the SportPesa Cup 2025 takes centre stage from Friday 21 March to Sunday 23 March, at Edgemead Football Club.
However, his failure to win in three of their last five league games has seemingly led to his departure, with reports in Tunisia suggesting that many around the club began to lose patience with the coach after teams like US Monastir started closing the gap in the race for the title.
An official statement by the club on Facebook reads: "Esperance Sportive de Tunis has terminated its contract with the Romanian head coach of the senior football team, Laurentiu Reghecampf, along with his technical staff.
"On this occasion, Esperance Sportive de Tunis extends its sincere gratitude to the entire technical staff, led by Mr. Lauren?iu Reghecampf, for their efforts throughout their tenure overseeing the senior football team.
"The club wishes them the best of luck in their future sporting endeavours."
Elias Mokwana and his teammates may not have to wait much longer for a replacement to walk through the door, as it is reported that Espérance have agreed on a deal to appoint current Stade Tunisien boss Maher Kanzari.
