Sead Ramovic has finally broken his silence regarding his recent shock exit from Young Africans.

Earlier this month, the Stuttgart native made the surprise decision to call time on his brief stint in Dar es Salaam to join Algerian giants CR Belouizdad.
In November 2024, Ramovic left his role as TS Galaxy head coach to take up a fresh challenge with the Jangwani Street giants, but just three months into his tenure with the Tanzanian side, he has already decided to leave.
Much speculation has consequently arisen following his decision, but the 45-year-old has insisted that it was purely based on sporting reasons and had nothing to do with monetary gain.
"As a coach, you live for moments like this. The decision to leave Yanga was not easy, but the best opportunity came and the move to CR Belouizdad was one I could not turn down. The league in Algeria offers week-in, week-out competition against high-quality opposition, and this is what I wanted for myself as a coach," the German tactician said on Metro FM.
"Young Africans is the best club in Tanzania. There are really only about three teams that compete for the league title in Tanzania, namely Young Africans, Simba SC, and Azam FC.
"My move to CR Belouizdad was about challenging myself as a coach and striving for improvement. It had nothing to do with money or alleged disputes with players.
"I made the decision for myself to be at one of the best teams in Africa, but I knew baseless rumours would arise about why I left Yanga. However, I do not care."

In Algiers, Ramovic will join forces with another PSL alumni as Khanyisa Mayo made the move to the Red and Whites at the start of the 2024/25 campaign.
