The Siya crew has been reliably informed that SAFA have met with the big bosses of Kappa, who sponsor Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs, and there is a possibility of an agreement between the two parties.
The partnership with Chiefs is believed to have benefited the brand and they are looking to keep rising again by sponsoring SAFA's national teams. Should the deal go through, it's expected to be long-term.
Kappa are no strangers to SAFA, having sponsored Bafana Bafana during it's most successful period. When Bafana won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1996, Kappa were the sponsors of the team and there is a good chance that they could be reunited in the not so distant future.
