Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe has issued a statement after missing his second penalty in a week in a shock LALIGA defeat to Athletic Club.

Los Blancos slumped to a 2-1 loss to Ernesto Valverde's Athletic at San Mames on Wednesday night.
Mbappe, 25, missed a chance to equalise in the 68th minute when his effort from 12 yards was saved after Alex Berenguer put Athletic in front shortly after half time.
Midfielder Jude Bellingham eventually scored to pull a goal back in the 78th minute, though the home side found themselves back in the lead just two minutes later.
The France captain's penalty blunder comes just a week after he missed from the spot in a UEFA Champions League loss to Liverpool at Anfield.
After the game, the former Paris Saint-Germain star put out a message on social media in which he claimed "full responsibility" for his error.
"Bad result. A big mistake in a match in which every detail counts," he wrote, according to Mail Sport.
"I take full responsibility. It's a difficult time, but it's the best time to change this situation and show who I am."
Despite his 10 goals in 19 appearances, Mbappe has not found life in Spain easy going since his free-agent switch to Madrid earlier this year.
The forward has been criticised for his performances in white, though he still has the backing of manager Carlo Ancelotti.
