The insiders discussed how this Spanish club has been following the 29-year-old former TS Galaxy player.
"That club has inquired about Bathusi (Aubaas). You know once they inquire that means there is interest. It doesn't mean that the deal will happen but it means that the player is doing very well and there is a chance of him moving to Europe," said the Siya source.
"Sometimes it may not be the team that showed interest first but that it's just another team interested. But for now, it's a Spanish club. The name of the team I can't say, but the interest is there," the source added.
A second Siya source discussed how the Brazilians may be willing to entertain inquiries from various clubs, which may not specifically be about Aubaas but a general stance.

"The club has been receiving inquires from different clubs (for Aubaas) both in Africa and Europe and they are looking at that but it's not that easy to just let a player go. So, they want to have a look at players while they are with them before signing (such a player). Then there are other clubs that have inquired about a direct signing without a trial but nothing has really come out of that. Now, it's Bathusi (Aubaas) with a team from Spain so let's wait and see what will happen," the second source stated.
Soccer Laduma contacted the player's agent, Basia Michaels, for comment, but received no response at the time of publishing.
As Aubaas continues to impress on the field, the interest from a La Liga side highlights his growing reputation. Fans will be eager to see if this potential move to Spain materializes and what it could mean for his career and Sundowns.
