A Premier League giant is reportedly eager to secure Victor Osimhen's services in a massive swap deal during the upcoming transfer window.

The Nigerian hitman has adapted to the Super Lig like a duck to water. In his opening nine matches for Turkish giants Galatasaray, Osimhen has scored eight goals and provided four assists in all competitions.
While there may have been reservations about his move to Istanbul, the Super Eagles star has been one of the league's leading lights, helping his team climb to the top of the standings.
Although he is currently playing for the Yellow-Reds, the Lagos native remains a Napoli player.
Osimhen's temporary transfer to Rams Park was a consequence of his failed moves to Saudi Arabia and Chelsea during the previous window. However, his loan deal includes a clause allowing the 2022/23 Serie A Golden Boot winner to leave Turkey as soon as January 2025.
According to Calcionapoli24, one team looking to take advantage of this clause is Manchester United. The Red Devils seemingly appreciate his talents and are said to want to make the move for him, but are deterred by his reported €75 million (R1.4 billion) release clause.
For this reason, the English giants are rumoured to be offering Joshua Zirkzee in a swap deal plus €30 million (R573 million).

The same report claims that Gli Azzurri are looking for cash. Even if they were to accept the proposed deal, another stumbling block is Osimhen's reported €12 million-a-year salary request as it is deemed too high by interested parties.
