On Wednesday morning, Italian giants AS Roma announced their decision to part ways with former player Daniele De Rossi. The retired midfielder leaves after only eight months in charge.
The 41-year-old was handed the job in January this year following the sacking of Jose Mourinho, but the team's start to the new season has seen the club go in another direction.
Roma have failed to win any of their opening four matches in Serie A so far this term, drawing three times and losing once.
His dismissal comes only a day after Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nassr confirmed Luis Castro's departure after the Portuguese tactician managed just one win in his past five games in charge of the team.
Over in Turkey, Hatayspor have cut ties with 39-year-old manager Ozhan Pulat, while Portugal-based side SC Braga ended their relationship with Daniel Sousa just four games into the campaign.
The move from Braga to fire the young coach came as a surprise to sections of the Portuguese media, especially as the club's announcement came only minutes after Sousa appeared in a post-match press conference.
The 39-year-old spoke to members of the media following Braga's 1-1 draw with CF Estrela in August, in what was the team's opening game in Liga Portugal, and moments later found out he was no longer in charge.

Back to Italy, legendary midfielder Andrea Pirlo was sacked as manager of Sampdoria in Serie B at the end of last month. The ex-Juventus coach left the club after just one full season at the helm following a poor start to the new campaign.
