Heading into their UEFA Nations League clash against Liechtenstein, San Marino had not won a professional game since 2004.
Their last triumph, in fact, came against Liechtenstein in an international friendly, making this their first-ever competitive victory.
According to CBS Sports, San Marino have ended an incredible 176-match winless streak in the process following a second-half goal from Nicko Sensoli to seal the historic 1-0 win.
