The story
Orlando Pirates stormed past Disciples FC, 4-0, in their first preliminary round clash at Orlando Stadium on Friday night.
Goals came curtesy of an early own-goal, with Relebohile Mofokeng, Patrick Maswanganyi and Karim Kimvuidi also getting onto the scoresheet to help Pirates progress to the Second Preliminary Round.
The dominant win over the Malagasy side will see the Buccaneers face Morena Ramoreboli's Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana in the Second Round of of the CAF Champions League.
As seen on social media platforms Instagram and TikTok, Mofokeng's mother, Naomi's presence proved to be a blessing for the youngster, who reportedly scored as shortly after she arrived E'sgodini.
