With Brandon Petersen injured a few weeks before the start of the new season, this has opened the door for new goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari to be in goal when Kaizer Chiefs take on Marumo Gallants in the Premiership.

Amakhosi are set to travel to the Free State on the opening weekend of the season next month to take on Gallants and as Petersen nurses a broken finger, indications are that he might not be ready to feature.
Ntwari has been hard at training since joining from TS Galaxy and the Siya crew understands that new coach Nasreddine Nabi is in favour of giving the Rwandan an opportunity ahead of Bruce Bvuma, who was the preferred shot-stopper for a big part of last season under interim coach Cavin Johnson.
The goalkeeping department has been a bit of an issue for Amakhosi over the last few seasons, with no one really stepping up to make the number one jersey their own.

Ntwari, who was unveiled to Amakhosi supporters when the club played Tanzanian giants Young Africans in the Toyota Cup last month, could get an opportunity to make the number one jersey his own, especially at a time when the club is looking for someone they can fully rely on between the sticks.
It's unclear at this stage when Petersen will be fully fit to play again.
