The story
Babina Noko's new boss, German-Dutch coach Peter Hyballa, is knee-deep in preparations for his first season in the PSL after being appointed as Lehlohonolo Seema's replacement earlier this month.
The 48-year-old, who has Dutch heritage on his mother and a German blood through his father, has coached various youth teams in his country of birth, Germany, including Arminia Bielefeld, VFL Wolfsburg, and Bayer Leverkusen's junior teams.
He's also coached Dutch sides NEC Nijmegen and NAC Breda and spent some time in Windhoek, Namibia with Ramblers FC in his early days as a mentor.
Hyballa caught up with SuperSport TV's Fiso Mazibuko to speak about how he's finding life in South Africa so far and the "Gegenpressing" philosophy fans can expect in the 2024/25 campaign from his team.
Sekhukhune will test out Hyballa's new style of play when taking on Cape Town City in the quarter-finals of the MTN8 this Saturday — hosted at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
