Usuthu Unveil New Kits & Signings For 24/25 Season

AmaZulu FC have launched their Umbro kits for the 2024/25 season, revealing a new sponsor!

The story

Durban-based Betway Premiership outfit, AmaZulu, have today launched their new kits for upcoming 2024/25 season.

Sticking with British sportswear brand, Umbro, as their technical sponsor, Usuthu have switched up their main jersey sponsor from Spar to Amandla Mobile.

The club also announced the signings of Etiosa Ighodaro, Luvuyo Phewa, Kwanda Mngonyama, Boniface Haba

AmaZulu parted ways with long term partners Spar and Grindrod at the end of last season, with Amandla Mobile and Umbro the only brands appearing on Usuthu's new Home, Away and Third kits.

Usuthu launched the kits at their Fan Experience store at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, seeing stars; Wayde Jooste, Riaan Hanamub, Mbongeni Gumedi, Abbubaker Mobara and Mlondi Mbanjwa modelling the club's green Home kit, white Away and yellow Third.

As mentioned by AmaZulu club president, Sandile Zungu, explained the importance of using traditional Zulu symbolism behind the kits. 

This season, they've chosen "Isagila" as the kits inspiration. Isagila is a handmade fighting stick with a fist-sized head, which is used in combat or small animal hunting, a weapon that forms an important part of a Zulu warrior's battle tools.
