Khama Billiat's time as a Kaizer Chiefs player is under threat, with the club understood to be open to officially parting ways having recently been in talks with the former Zimbabwean international over a new deal.
Indications are that Billiat has options on the table and Amakhosi recently confirmed that the experienced campaigner is nowhere to be found.
With his contract now expired, Amakhosi offered the 32-year-old a new deal, but it has not been signed and it's unclear at this stage if he will put pen to paper.
The Siya crew understands that there could also be a future for Billiat outside the country, deals potentially believed to be a bit more lucrative, as he is in a crucial stage of his career where money plays a big factor in the decisions a footballer makes.
It's believed that there is interest for Billiat in North Africa and in the Middle East, so Amakhosi may have to plan for life without the attacking midfielder going into the 2023/24 campaign.
The Siya crew understands that there is also interest for the player in the DStv Premiership and the player is weighing his options, as he wants to make the right decision at this stage of his career.
