A R5 million star is close to putting pen to paper with defending league champions Mamelodi Sundowns after completing his medicals at the club today, sources have confirmed.
Despite earlier indications that exciting midfielder Lesiba Nku would be joining Sekhukhune United from Marumo Gallants, there has been a turn of events with the Limpopo outfit claiming to have a contract with him and that they are the right people to decide his future.

Just like in the case of his teammate Ranga Chivaviro who has been linked with several clubs since the season ended, there has been confusion regarding the contract situation of Lesiba, with sources having since confirmed that Gallants have now sold him to Sundowns for a fee believed to be around R5 million.
"Lesiba Nku was at Sundowns today for his medicals. He is being sold to Sundowns for R5 million from Marumo Gallants," said the source.

"Initially, the agreement was that the player would be joining Sekhukhune United. Everything was agreed on as the player believed at the time that he would be a free agent only to learn that he was still under contract at Marumo. Now, he is set to sign for Sundowns," concluded the source.
