The Siya crew has been informed that Raymond Monama is looking at the possibility of making a move abroad to get himself back on the pitch following a long absence.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Black Leopards midfielder, who has also been on the books of Ajax Cape Town, Platinum Stars, University of Pretoria, Royal AM and Polokwane City, is currently without a club but is not looking to hang up his boots just yet, as he looks at what opportunities are there for him beyond the borders of South Africa.
The 33-year-old has been on the lookout for moves in the PSL, but nothing has come his way in recent times, but believes there are possibilities outside the country before he brings an end to his playing career in a few years from now.
"We will have to see if one of the First Division teams in the Middle East gives me an invitation, or in Asia," Monama said when contacted by this publication.
He added, "There is someone who is trying to get me there and he has started to talk to some teams."
The left-footed, who has made close to 100 appearances in his PSL career, has been keeping himself fit to make sure he is ready for when opportunities to sign a contract come his way.
