Du Preez bagged his sixth goal of the season as the Soweto giants defeated the Chilli Boys 1-0 at a packed Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

The Chiefs tactician was pleased to see Du Preez maintaining his form as Chiefs look to season the finish strong.
"Ja, look I'd say the guys executed the plan, you could have seen first-half we showed character, we started very well, created chances we missed them," Zwane told SuperSport after the game.
"But halftime I encouraged them to keep going, add ten percent more of what they gave in the first-half and they did exactly that, created chances again today but lady luck was also on our side to get a goal today. Because we kept on pushing and pressing them and ja thanks we got a goal that we needed.
"Yes, we need that, that's the only way sometimes you can unlock the opposition defence line and ja 'Ash' is obviously one of the top players that we rely on and he's been doing very well.
"He's been scoring crucial goals at the right time and I'm happy for him and his confidence will grow, the more he scores goals like these then the team will do better and that will also help other players who are still trying to find their feet."
