A former Orlando Pirates player is set to make a sensational return to football despite announcing his retirement last year.

It was in January 2022 that Sameehg Doutie announced his retirement from the beautiful game.
He had last featured for Bidvest Wits in the 2019/20 season before the club was sold to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila at the time.
The former Ajax Cape Town, Pirates, SuperSport United and Wits man penned a heartfelt message as he bid farewell to the game; however, it appears that he has had a change of heart.
According to Siya sources, Doutie, who turns 34 next month is set to come out of retirement to take up a challenge abroad.
While the source could not confirm the winger's next destination, Doutie took to social media to confirm the news, revealing that he is close to completing his deal.
"They came to fetch the man after 3 years out in the dark. After Wits got sold then 2 years waiting patiently, there was nothing at the age of 30. Then after 2 years we gave it up and now it feels like a miracle from the man above," he tweeted.
He further revealed that one more document is needed to complete his move, which is expected to be announced soon.
