Speaking through the club's media department, Mthethwa made a promise to the supporters about their plans to make them happy.
"Firstly, we won at last, but I'd say, this wasn't an easy game. We missed chances but they are very good. But also, I'd say give credit to the team they did very well. But for me, being with the team for seven years, who knew that I would one day be the one who' taking the winning penalty," said Mthethwa.

"And I'm just happy with the guys, going forward I just hope that we are going all the way to the final. Obviously, yesterday was my birthday, and when he missed I was like, wow. And I don't know why they chose me to take the fifth penalty but I think it was God planned. I had to win for the club, for the fans and for everyone who is part of Orlando Pirates. To the fans, we thank you all, continue to support the club and we will continue giving you the happiness that you deserve. Happy people!" the centre-back added.
