On Sunday afternoon, Lesotho hosted their southern African counterparts at Dobsonville Stadium in their latest 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier as they looked to avenge their 3-1 loss to the 2012 African champions last week.
While the Crocodiles looked threatening in the opening exchanges of the match, it was Daka who opened the scoring in the 14th minute for the Zambians.
The 24-year-old was on target once again for Grant's men late in the second half, when he made it 2-0 in the 69th minute courtesy of a neat near-post finish.
After the match, Grant was pleased with his side's performance but had special praise for his Premier League marksman.
"We are on the right track although nothing is finished yet even though we have nine points," the 68-year-old explained in a post-match press conference, as per CAF Online.
"This process is moving well because we have won the first two matches when I was in charge and the team has played better than in the first match.
"In the first match a few days ago, Daka did a lot of running and today he showed very good finishing as a striker.
"But we are on the right track now and things will get better with hard work."
