After some solid performances and few clean sheets, Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be open to keeping one of the club's goalkeepers.

Although the contract of Brandon Peterson expires in June 2024, the Siya crew that has been informed that the former Bidvest Wits goalkeeper is believed to have done enough to earn himself a contract extension.
Insiders have revealed that talks between the club and the player's camp look set to commence soon.
"For now its an offer. It doesn't mean he has signed. What it means is that the team is willing to keep him for another three years from next year. I think it will work out because the player is also happy to be at the team. However, you know such things depend on negotiations from both sides," the source said.

When asked about the offer, the player representative Lance Davids from Football First Agency denied any knowledge of the offer from Kaizer Chiefs.
"I won't be able to comment because I would like to know where this is coming from," Davids said.
