The pressure is mounting for a DStv Premiership coach whose team has been inconsistent and having lost its most recent match on the weekend.
Following their 2-0 loss against Royal AM on Sunday, AmaZulu find themselves sitting in 12th place on the log and pressure is mounting for the team's head coach Romain Folz, according to sources.

Folz has been in charge of six matches, having won one of those and drawn four while the loss to Thwihli Thwahla was his first in the colours of the Durban-based outfit.
While sources have indicated that the French-Moroccan mentor still has the backing of club management to turn the fortunes of the side, the results that have come in dribs and drabs are said to be a cause for concern, according to sources.
Since taking ownership of Usuthu in 2020, club president Sandile Zungu set the standards high for the KwaZulu-Natal giants as he wants to see the team among the top four in the country and consistently competing for trophies.
After finishing seventh on the log last season, following a remarkable 2020/21 campaign from which the team finished second under Benni McCarthy, Brandon Truter was relieved of his duties and replaced with Folz.

There's also been talk of Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Manqoba Mngqthi being targeted by Usuthu although the experienced mentor did play down the speculation linking him with an exit from the Chloorkop club, as reported in edition 1304 of Soccer Laduma.
"The coach (Folz) has become under pressure due to inconsistent results as he has won only one game in the league so far. But the management is backing him to turn things around and what would help him to improve the situation would be to add a few more wins in the coming games," said the source.
In their next match, Usuthu are scheduled to play Kaizer Chiefs at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Friday.
